I came across this set up video for the 4 speed linkage
A neat trick I would have never known about
Maybe some of you know this and some don't
Thought it was worth sharing  :2thumbs:

Jed is a nice young fella. Been watching his vids for a couple of years now. I love his family videos and the way Jed and his dad get along. Just a great bunch of blue collar fellas. I see a lot of me and this young man when I was his age. Up for anything.
He's been having some health issues lately. Too early in life for that nonsense.
Wishing him all the best.

Only works on shifters with alignment holes in all three levers, the later Hurst shifters have only two levers with holes.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

"Trick", it's why the hole was put there in the first place!  :yesnod:  :2thumbs:

It's in the service manual & I would have thought that this would be common knowledge.

Well anyways
Thought it looked like a good idea
I do not own a service manual so would not have even known to look for such a thing to do to set up the levers

I do not have a car with a 4 spd set up in it yet but have started to gather some parts when I see them

70 sublime, in case we haven't mentioned, thanks for posting your link! Just 'cuz we're old & wise, that alone, doesn't make us know-it-alls!  :smilielol: Maybe there are some young guns on here that weren't aware of that procedure!  :2thumbs:
