I was going through some of my parts today and came across these 3 different jack bases
I have the rest of the parts to make up two jacks as I have 2 cars to put them in
The rusty square base I saved from my very first Charger which was a 68 back in 1982
Back then I knew nothing about Chargers
I still have the T post and jack part to go with it
It is the different style that has the hook that goes on the jack so not a true Charger jack  ( might be good for parts ? )
The black base I saved from a 70 Charger I bought on my wife's birthday Dec 21 1990
( poor timing on my part but I do remember the date :) )
The grey base I picked up this summer with the complete jack for $75
Also from a 70 Charger

How many different style bases are there ?
Different years are each a bit different ??

Dan

That site shows all 68 69 70 Chargers have my grey base style post hole as their jack base but also shows the 69 Daytona as my black base style post hole
Why would a 69 Charger that they started with to build a Daytona from have the black base then ??

I am wondering if the grey base style is just a 70 Charger thing and the black base style should be 68 69 Charger thing ??
Hmmmm

mine had a grey jack base
my charger had a spd of November 22nd 68  & was original 63 k mile & prolly been sitting from late 70s till 85 with a blown motor when I bought from the 2nd owner almost 31 years ago.

there was a thread on this subject here or on the old site a long time ago , & thought sure there was only grey bases , but think it showed black too in that thread ! identical bases just one grey one black  :shruggy:
