Unfortunately that will most likely be restored....Its just too bad....hes confusing patina with rust! The looks don't seen to go with the claim its been in a barn since it was 16000 miles old.....a barn with no roof perhaps??

35-40k top dollar to the right person. No way to prove the miles unfortunately. I can make my odometer say the same thing. The rust is bad, but seen much much worse. I wouldnt buy it and love a12 cars.
   Bottom line- its worth whatever it sells for.

Thanks for posting. The rust makes it not worth keeping as a survivor. It would be a good one to restore.

It's worth more than $18K...that's what it was worth circa 1999! They completely shot the moon with their initial asking price and the way they came out swinging. The car is beyond anyone trying to keep it as a survivor, in my opinion, it needs to be restored. That being said, restored A12's are in the $90-$110K window excluding the occasional ultra rare X9 or 'floral top' car that comes to market. So what's it worth, besides what someone is willing to pay for it? I'd say a realistic number should be $45-$55K...that way, after you dump $60-$80K into a restoration (doing most of the work yourself) you'll only be upside down about $20-$30K!
