Repro charger headlight switch

Anybody here had good luck with the new repro 68/69 charger headlight switches? I had a friend that bought one several years back when they first came out and I had to take the guts out of an old original switch and put pieces into the new switch to get it to turn the headlights on and off properly. Just wondered if anybody else has had any issues with these or not....

I haven't but I've heard a couple of stories similar to yours.  So just second hand reports but it seems like all of that Chinese crap has a similar quality.

Biggest issue I had was the vacuum. It leaked like a sob. Electronics were ok, so like the other poster mentioned, might be able to use the electric guts with your old vacuum parts.
