 The point is everyone hated it. It has never been repeated.

I like green. Blue is best but green outside and/or inside is better than the boring grey that's 99% of cars/trucks the last 30 years.

I like green too. Now....I didn't like it when I was younger. It took time to appreciate. I have grown to appreciate the colors since new car colors are so limited.
Black is so common. Green, red, tan interiors look nice when they are in good condition.

I like the green interior in my 77 F150. Just the right amount of green with black accents like carpet and dash panels etc. I did change a few things though like a black/camo bench cover and replaced the green visors with a wink mirror.

Unfortunately they don't make repro green interior pieces though.

I never had any  hate for green.  Not much of a fan of gold though.
