That seems a little bizarre to me.  If it is true, isn't it a criminal matter?

They've already arrested 13 or so Union leaders from what I heard on the 11pm news. Seems not much has changed that union leaders are rarely ever really looking out for their members, but for themselves.

Yep, that how Union Bosses are very rich. They make money off the backs or laborers.

All very true.

They'll all blame the dead guy and it will go away.

I don't have much respect for union leaders at all.  I had to learn the hard way that their words and intentions are two vastly different things.

Except the employees of non union shops don't have to pay dues and be bullied by thugs.. slight difference.

It can be, but (I only skimmed through the complaint, its 62 pages and federal complaints are insufferably wordy) GM is saying they were harmed (economically) as a result of FCA's alleged illegal activity.

Ie. if somebody breaks your car window in a fit of road rage, they can be criminally charged for the act itself but you can also independently sue them for the damage (what it will cost to fix, etc) to your car.

Benefits FAR out weight the dues.    Thugs??  Never saw any of that around here, in Detroit.

All the scamming happened underground!       :rotz:

My union experience was MUCH less favorable.
