Welcome to the site.....hope someone will help you and not criticize your directness. I 'd rather see straightforward help without the smart ass remarks but some people live for this and sometimes you have to struggle through the worthless remarks to get to the help you're looking for.

WOW, amazing how a tread can develop into a war of words on such trivial issues!  Can't we all just play nice?   I am willing to bet that there are a lot of people that post then leave after getting this kind of response from members of the forum.   *I am sure they really feel welcomed into the group.  Perhaps, members should just live by the golden rule, and if you have nothing good to say...just sit out the tread.  Everyone has an opinion and it's easy to post it when you are not face to face with someone.....Please, just put some thought into what you are posting...before hitting the send button.

I believe what the o/p is looking for, in his blunt & nondescript way of asking, is the shield (with rubber seal) at the top front of the inner fender.
