hood mounted turn signals

Hello,

     Do the hood turn signals flash all time or only when the parking or headlights are on?

I swear mine worked all the time but after a dash re-wire, they only flash when parking or headlights are active. Or am I just mis-remembering? 69 charger.

they are supposed to only work when the turn signals or 4-way flashers are on, whether the lights are on or not....the parking lights and headlights have nothing to do with them.....if they only work with lights on, you have wires crossed somewhere under the dash

Yes factory they blink all the time when blinkers or 4 ways are on
