1968 Charger exhaust

I just bought a '68 with the stock 383 2 bbl. .. It will need an exhaust system soon. I want to keep the stock manifolds.. where do I find the header pipes, and are the 2 bbl. different from the 4 bbl. I'm told by some people they are. thanks for any info

Call TTi, they should be able to custom bent a pair of head pipes by using the manifold numbers. They made mine out of 304 stainless steel for my four bbl.

Yes. 2bbl manifolds and head pipes are different than on 4bbl cars

$$ Yeah I guessed that $$ ..I bought tti headers years ago and wow, but they fit great in my a-body 440. ..I think I'll $ee if I can find a less expensive way .. it's not bad today, but it's in the future.

I used TTI headpipes on my 68.  However, mine has HP manifolds.  I think they do make ones for the non HP manifolds though.  The quality and fit of mine were excellent.  I made the mistake of not using the rest of their exhaust kit and using a cheaper kit.  That was a terrible choice.

I agreee here, unless its a judged show car, i can find alot better things to drop a grand on.

Agreed-  unless it's a show car don't worry about it and go to a local muffler shop...   

If it is a show car call up accurate LTD for a correct reproduction exhaust system
