Big block/small block auto/standard all the same right??

Go to your local parts store and buy one for a 92 dakota 5.2

Pretty much all interchangeable. Some changes allong the years like diff gears inside to make it spin faster ( i have one of those with diff armature shaft to fit a gear adaptor ). I remember /6, SB and BB got diff PNs too, but still phisically all interchanges.

smaller, spin faster and sucks less load.

about the diff PNs between blocks I think is power related... maybe being armature or fields with less coil turns
