Stunning car. A brave person to resto-mod a Daytona! Is the nose fiberglass or is that just the light, and was it originally a 4-speed- at that price a lot more info needs to be available. Best looking color combo available, wow!

Nicely upgraded Daytona!, done right, the only thing I'd change would be a red wing/stripe, get rid of the AC/AC dash, change out the D.Patik front spoiler, and that goofy shifter ball

When they do that retro-fit air conditioning does it take over the heater function too? There are no heater tubes in firewall that I see

heater hoses are there...looks like they ran them through the passenger wheel well along with the AC lines

Yes!
The Daytona was in the for sale section in the middle of the show for 2018.
It was also at the 2017 show in the Troy Angelly restorations booth.

I hate to say this but that ones nice.
A few things I would change ,,, namely a red wing , ( would prefer a red interior to ) a few details need cleaned up ( I mean a 2 piece brake booster hose, really ? ) the routing of the AC to compressor lines bugs me .
But overall I like this one A LOT . But is WAAAAAAAAAY put of my price range.
The fact its a real XX car makes me think he just might get the price or damn close to it

I became interested in this car as it was sold new at the same dealership as my 68, Valley Motors, Auburn, Wa. It was a 440, auto, 3.55 car, now appears to have 426 hemi (period correct?), manual trans, and some suspension mods. Apparently original engine and trans is lost.

My question is what do you guys think the engine/trans  and other mods do to the price of this daytona? Does it make it hard to sell?

Kind of a modern interpretation of a "Hot Rod".

The car looks like it was restored or freshened up too.
