Correct me if I'm wrong, but Hemi oil pans are 6 quart, other Mopar V8s are typically 5 quart (4+1 for filter).

This should be the pan for the factory 440 in the 69 Charger

A really nice upgrade would be to use the 70 on up Hemi/440hp 6 qt oil pan

Got to match the existing pickup to the new pan right?  :scratchchin:

I'm sure that MOST people want to be helpful but when someone pops in with a question and gives almost no information, it is like a guy going to a Doctor and saying "It Hurts" then waiting for the Doctor to ask all of the questions.   :smilielol:

Unless building a pure show car that needs to he factory correct, i would never use the stock 4 qt pan.

Agreed !  :2thumbs:

Best stock style pan for a 440 is the reproduction street hemi pan with a windage tray.  :yesnod:

This one has a 6qt capacity plus whatever the oil filter holds. Mine was right at 6.75 qts with the Napa Gold oil filter. If you order this one get the 3/8 pickup tube which is correct for a 440....unless the engine has been modified for the larger 1/2in hemi pickup tube. All stock 383-440 pans had 4qt capacities except the "971" pan which held 5qts. The 971's came on early 70's B bodies.
