I remember that car. Steve Strope built it for a guy named George Poteet. I saw the car in 2006 in Nan Nuys. Nice build but very short on creature comforts. Me? I'd need better seats to hold me in place while cornering, padding and carpet to reduce interior noise, some armrests, a stereo...

     its no secret that I like second generations  looking stock from the out side   or day two or .....  I love the look of this car because it reminded me of the grand national stock car chargers from back in the day !  only thing  I would change if it was mine would be the wheels , nice set of satin black steel  stock car wheels & good year rubber

It also needs a 68 stripe, new tail light bezels and the tail panel repainted sating black.

yep your Right MTD    forgot to mention those

IMO:

- Ditch the Mustang buckets
- Paint the tail panel satin black
- Switch out the tail lights with stock ones
- Make sure the stock tail lights are on straight
- Put the correct tail stripe on or none at all
- Put the correct silver back on the grille
- Install the wheel well trim
- Switch out those wheels with steel rims and center caps

There that should do it. 

I'll give it a pass on the dash, roll bar and duck tail spoiler, but yuck on those features (yeah I know it's a race car).
