I put my Road Wheels from my 70 Charger R/T on the 72 Bengal, Looks better then the Hubcaps. Now Waiting for a Power Bulge hood I got off ebay. It will be similar to the 71 Super Bee hood. Picture it Hemi Orange with Black Power Bulge & Black Rump Stripe. Should look kool? LEON.

Host seems to have gone down, but here's a series of the Dart racing, and then her resto. She's still alive and well.

Landy lost weight and kept the same cigar. :icon_smile_big:

I just saw this posted on another board in a thread about Mike's Cuda making the cover. Take a look at the circled text in the upper right hand corner.  ;)

:o Tell me that is the December issue? Cause I thought I had that one, but I dont, and if it is a Oct. issue, I already tossed it out and never saw that :-\

It sure would be nice for one of you guys who get it to scan and post the article! :yesnod:

:boogie: I just got my Dec. issue of Mopar Muscle! And the first thing I did of course was read the story of this awesome Charger. :yesnod: It was.... EXCELLENT to say the least! They did give this board a nice plug too as they must of at least read this post. Even if you guys usually don't buy Mopar Muscle, this issue is a deffinate must! :yesnod:

Now I have something to look forward to in the mail.

Chris G.

Just got mine. Very nice spread on the car. I wish it was longer, but it was very informative.

Congrats on the article.  :2thumbs:

Here's the article. I am not the best at scanning, so if better ones come in, I will change them.

With Mr. Sites permission, I would love to add all the great photos he has posted here on the site as well.

Thanks Chris!

The article also adds some interesting history of the car. How could Landy not have remembered a car that set the national record in 1970? I guess if I owned and raced 4 cars per season 35 years ago I might have forgotten a few things as well. :D

It wasn't until May of this year when Ron posted a couple pictures of the forgotten DLI Charger on dodgecharger.com that word got out about the "lost Landy Charger." The discussion board was afire with people downloading Ron's images, making comments, posting ancient articles about the '70 B-Body, and ecstatic to see the car. Ron unwittingly deployed one of the biggest bombs to the Mopar enthusiast hobby via an online chat forum.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Ghoste

Dropped a bomb in the cool part of the Mopar hobby anyway. :icon_smile_big:

(us Charger freaks aren't humble or we'd drive ordinary looking cars)

Please do and thanks for the post. I haven't received my copy yet. This is the first time I've seen it and I think it turned out great.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

My 3 other buddies and I got a room downtown TO and plan on a steak dinner and a bunch of beers.  If you're interested, call me and you can join us.      :punkrocka:

If not, have a good Thanksgiving Don!

Now, back to the "thanks to Chris G" posts fellas!  Hoist one for him, he saved you $6.00 USD!
