The 1970 Charger makes the best nostalgia drag cars! Awesome! I hope somebody restores that 70 Landy Machine!

hi

the owner came by my space at carlisle and bought the original landy modified intake to the car from me

he said that he was considering buying the chrome hooker headers and some of the other stuff too

only time will tell

but 1 thing for sure, he isnt in a rush to do anything with the car

it was great reuniting the original intake with the car, i hope he follows through with aquiring the rest of the parts for the car

Hi guys, not much new. We moved the car to our new house, even though we haven't had the time to move there ourselves yet. We want to take it to Carlisle, but not until it is running. Valve retainers are cracked. This shouldn't be a big job, just haven't had the time. Hopefully next year. We bought what is supposed to be the original intake from Tony at Carlisle last year. We may get some more parts this year. Thanks to Charger_Fan and UFO for the great pics they posted. I have been trying to post more pics from the move, but keep getting a message that my session timed out. Will try again.

Ghoste

Whoo hoo!  Thanks for the update sites and good to hear things are still moving forward.

Did the original motor get back in your hands ? Few pages back sounded like someone held it for ransom.

ive got it, would you consider $15,000 ransom for a 1970 hemi motor complete with the landy chrome hooker headers and superstock carbs?

its a 20 over, never stamped with vin or assy #s as Mike Landy explained to me they just got over the counter blocks from chrysler to build up on their own and sold off the stock #s motor as it made no sense to disassemble a stock motor and rebuild it to their race specs

only missing the intake which Ron bought and the oilpan which recently sold to someone else

Ghoste

Just curious Tony, do you still have the engine?

For $15,000.00 I should snag it and drop it in my car.  ;)
