Great story, a fellow engineer and all round GOOD GUY!
Very sad to die at such a tender age.
He lived his dream and helped lots of Wingcar Folks along the way.

God must have needed him for a big Aero project.

I'm also 62 and never owned a Wingcar and probably never will.
Not for the want of trying, but like a lot of things in life, a day late and a dollar short!

Nice write up about Ted, sad he's no longer with us. 

I've talked to him many times on the phone & learned that if you were going to talk to Ted, make sure you had plenty of time & nowhere to go because Ted LOVED to talk.     Most of the parts I have for my Daytona replica are Ted's & he was always helpful in explaining things. With him having lived in Texas I never expected to meet him but I did when he was at Carlisle a couple of years ago. It was great to put a name to a face & get to talk in person, & yes, he LOVED to talk in person just like on the phone.

RIP Ted, I was glad to have gotten to know him although it was briefly.
