Found a 68 R/T WIW

I know, I know, I need pictures but I didn't have a camera.  I'm trying to get a rough estimate as to the worth of this car.  Guy wants $7500 for it.  Best description I can give is as follows:   Numbers matching 440, Auto, 8 3/4 rear.  Originally Gold with black stripe (now in primer), interior is all there, frame rails are solid.  It needs floor pans, trunk pans and extensions.  Around the rear window looks good, may need lower quarter.  Grill is good, lights all work as do the hideaways.  Body is pretty straight.  Fender tag was NOT there but the VIN is XS29L.  I will try and get the rest for the registry when I can.  Thanks Dave

Onw other thing that I have never seen that I am pretty certain is NOT original but the guy claimed it was:  On the dash plate where the rear window defrogger would be was a silver 440 emblem, anyone ever seen that?

sounds like a good project to me a matching number 440 R/T , and if it all checks out ok , GO get right now , or you will regret it if you don't for along time / may be for ever . the way second generation charger prices are, and mopars in general are going.

I'd say it's a fair price. Not a smokin' deal but probably little cheaper than average for what you're getting. And I'm willing to bet there's more rust than what you know about.
