I was able to acquire a numbers matching 1971 Dodge Charger 440 6 pack car with automatic, in the gold color. The man we bought it from bought it from the original owner in 1988 and stored it in a car trailer under a car cover then stored the trailer in a controlled environment warehouse. 73600 miles, last on the road in 1979. My bodyshop buddy said based on the surface rust, it would be an easy restoration. Because of my person preferences and plan on keeping the car forever and just drive it with my family sometimes, I am not keeping it stock and making it the way we want it. We upgraded the suspension, and went with Wilwood disc brakes and need to know how big of tires and wheels will fit on this vehicle. What we are after with these tires and wheels is handling and doing the best they can with a little over 700 horsepower. So basically a cool rest-mod look. Taller that stock with smaller sidewalls, but not to thin of sidewalls, kinda of an in between so it still looks muscular.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions and help!

PS The car is still in process of being finished and should be leaving one shop to then go to the final stages at my Buddys bodyshop.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on acquiring the 71.  Reading through this thread would be a good start.

Your brake size and suspension  geometetry will determine your wheel size.
