Looking good. Starting to look like a real daytona now.
I've put Howard's daytona on hold for a few days until I get my chal convert together. Then we're going to alter the deck lid and install the plug.

God's honest truth... I have the donor in my possession as we speak. I have been mulling this over for about 2 years now. I've considered 7.3 ford p-stroke, G.M 6.5 turbo, 6.2 G.M., Cummins 5.9 (all dismissed because of height, width, oil pan, electronics, etc. 3.0 Mercedes is best compromise. I will post my progress ( M.B. is coming in for surgery this weekend)  When it is all said and done, I will have the world's fastest (and only) Diesel Daytona. I estimate top speed at 80 m.p.h.

I know a guy who runs his land rover defender diesel on vegetable oil........standing next to it is like standing next to a Macdonald's frystation...
Now there is a eco friendly way to run your Daytona....
