So, I've been going through my dash wiring to fix a lot of screw ups. As I'm putting it back together (I didn't see what it looked like before it was initially taken apart), I'm confused by a seventh terminal on the wiper switch. Is that where the heater blower motor draws its power? It does seem to be a hot terminal and I have an extra black-with-white-tracer wire flapping around back there. None of the wiring diagrams, including the factory service manual, show a seventh terminal on the wiper switch. I checked the Mopar number (3488043) on the switch against the parts book and it's the correct switch (variable speed motor). I'm wondering if there was some engineering change after the FSM was sent to print.

There is an extra prong ( the one on top riveted to a curved plate ) for ground not included on plugs and normally never used since it takes the ground from chassis.

That's what I thought, but the extra prong is common with the B terminal where the pink wire (V1 accessory power) attaches. I've put electrical tape over it just to be on the safe side.
