Today was his ceremony.And Troy brought his Daytona to honor Ted.I got this story from Teds daughter how he bought his first wingcar a 69 Daytona in 1973 and tried to hide it from his dad.

That wasn't exactly true. He used his college money (and lawn mowing money) without his dad knowing, bought it, and tried to hide it down the street under a tarp. His dad came home one day and said, "Teddy is that your Daytona out there." 😂 My dad seems like he was quite the character in his younger years.

He still has a yellow one. It is pretty bad shape right now.

We have told everyone in the family about my father's passing. You are welcome to spread the news. We still don't know where or when the ceremony will be but it will be late next week.

Before I met him in Houston Texas.Where I lived a while. I'd get pulled over in my wingcar by a cop saying. I know it was you and this car racing around spinning tires.I told Ted he laughed.His son Grant will take the business and keep it going

Tim Ecords dad bought a 69 daytona new.Nose got wrecked.And bought a new one.I believe Ted used this nose for first nosecone mold.And built his personal replicas.And in mid 70-s around 78 went into business with.Having his own 69 Daytona to copy additional parts for the Daytona charger
