That is funny Troy and I've noticed it lately at events also.  Concerts, graduation speeches and so forth, lower levels of applause because everyone has their phone out.

Concerts are a joke these days. At least half of the crowd has their Damn phone out taking videos (vertical ones I might add). What's the point?? You're missing out on enjoying the show. Are you really going to watch it later?? And even if you didn't take a video you can watch on YouTube the next day because some other idiot will have it posted it by then.
