Got pics of it in the junk yard?
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

I don't.. Don't think Tom does either. back then, people didn't take a lot of pictures and there was no convenient cell-phone... I'll look at the documentation I have to get the name of the place it was at.. It was in Tennessee before that...........

I can't stress the importance of vintage pics for documentation purposes...  Hope something turns up!

So did this car go from south carolina junkyard and then to Tennesee then Canada to tx.In that order?
http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,131510.0.html

I don't think Canada was in the mix.... From what I know, in backwards order: Me (Texas), Tom (Indiana), previous owner at the salvage yard ( Carolinas ), title from then showed (Tenn) as previous title... That's all I know from this point.. At some point when it was done with the PR responsibilities, it was obviously sold, but to who and where they live, not sure..... The Canada connection is just a Canadian for sale website when Tom's friend way-back tried to market it for the 499,999.99 amount. The pictures of the car on that ad were at Tom's barn, just as I found it in Indiana...

Ghoste

There is one the press cars that eventually made its way to Canada of course, so it is possible to confuse the two that way also.

I do believe so... I believe he keeps the car in Alabama.... I have spoken to him a lot over the last couple of months since I reunited the original broadcast sheet of his car to him...

Dave,
there are apparently 6.. There were 3 manual trannys and 3 autos.. The were shipped in pairs to the West and East Coast for the magazines in those area and the other pair stayed in the Michigan area....

It very well could be, it was in Canada for a very long time but he has been spending more and more time in Alabama of late I have been told, so moving some of his cars  down there makes sense.

Update for you Mark.. Tada !!!

Pretty much done with the disassembly of the ole girl. Have to wait about 2.5 weeks for the blaster I am going to try. Gent says he has a system of stripping the car to include the very resistant factory sound deadening undercoating. I will take him one of my extra fenders that has the same undercoating and see how that goes before I take the complete car there. I want to reduce the chances of something happening to the car during multiple transportation. While I am waiting I will start taking out the whiff-wham attempt to repair the rusty trunk floor back in the 80's and all the window clips.. Thanks to my buddy Julius for enlightening me on another technique for removing the drip rail molding, had one side off in two minutes and the other side in 30 seconds, perfectly..
