I've always wondered this.
In all the 68/69 chargers we have in Australia. I've never seen one a factory hemi (J)
Besides one for sale a few years ago (69 4 speed black car) a fair few RTs (L) and then 318 and 383 cars
I've seen a few on eBay for sale. 150k+ but that's it.
I'm talking factory born. Not one put in it by the owner. A true J code charger.

In Australia the only factory Hemi i have ever seen in a charger is a white 68 J code car blue interior automatic imported in 68 and converted to rh drive.
In the Sydney area there was that i had come across a total of 16 68-70 Dodge Chargers all rh drive back in the day around 1980. Many of these cars i have never seen again and wonder where they are now as you just don,t see many of the original converted ones around. There was more 68 then 69 and only a few 70
