Hey everyone, been a member for a little while now. I've grown up being around mopars my whole life. My dad is addicted to them and it's passed on to me lol. My dad has a 69 super bee 383 4 speed, a 69 satellite convertible a few old dodge trucks 1968, 1985 and a 1938. Also my brother has a 71 demon he just recently purchased. Anyway I've had this car for a few years and was honestly kinda scared to tackle the project, until I decided to just dive into it. I'm a huge gear head. My first big project was restoring a 1993 w250 12 valve cummins that made 1157hp at the crank. It's a riot to drive. Here's a pic of the charger when I got it.

Planning on a stock interior, original color. With a Dana 60 4 link and I've got a 400 block I'm planning on a 451 stroker.

Looks good!!!  What method did you use to stabilize the car and keep the dimensions straight when you replaced the frame rails?

Well before anything made about a million measurements and recorded them, looked up the factory chassis measurements to make sure they were correct, then welded in a couple bars from inner rocker to inner rocker. And screwed the frame rails in with self tappers, checked the measurements then welded them in with the k member bolted in.

Hello, kole32 Welcome  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Great 68

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for original RH front frame rail?

The reason I'm asking is that I have two RH front frame rails, rust free and I'm trying to gauge the market on them. The LH front frame rails always go quicker due to them rusting faster because of the battery tray area.

Thanks for sharing and good luck moving forward. Plenty of helpful resources in here.

I believe it was around 275. Thanks everyone hoping to get the car in paint this year and the rear suspension done.
