A/C equipped 383 4 barrel cars in 1969 were rated at 330 HP and were painted blue.

For the 1969 Charger, the orange 383/335 HP motor was only installed with these codes D21(4spd) and H11(heater only).

That's a great car. I've seen very few 69s with the cloth inserts, only 3 that I can think of. One of them I had someone inspect when I was in the market. It was a 69 RT, Q5, C5X column shift V8X V1X.

My 69 is a Q5 with the C5X option
They do look interesting but they need to be re covered

Any body know anyplace that has new covers like this in black ?

My 69 RT had C5X installed, date coded to the car. When I pulled the covers off the date codes were plain as day stamped on the material. However, the fender tag is coded C6X. When I restored the car I put back in what is on the fender tag. I am guessing when Ms. Upchurch the original owner of my car and my old neighbor may have had then switched with another car or maybe they were just installed at the factory wrong? Who knows?
