I am not happy with the way my engine performs....it does not seem to have anywhere near the power I feel it should.....barely spins a tire...
here is my current setup....Engine has only couple hundred miles since rebuild..
thanks for your suggestions.....I want a decent idle, not looking to go crazy, just some performance

My money says that the cam is probably not your problem.  Why do you think it is?  What size motor? Compression ratio, and cranking cylinder pressure?

440......is a fresh rebuild, compression was very good, cant remember the numbers now, but if memory serves me well was around 170 cyl?...not sure what the compression ratio was at time of rebuild as was a while ago....
it sounds very strong, has a nice lumpy idle....
Maybe I need to go back to the basics and check compression in each cyl again.....it just does not have the get up an go I expected......stored for winter at this time and was hoping to have what I need cam wise by spring to change it out if req'd

Has the engine been tuned? Either on a dyno or on the street.

1st things to check, is the throttle cable set to get wide open throttle ?  2 how is the dist timing set up ? & THEN jetting.

possible lower compression, bumpy bump cam, 3.23 gears, 2 ton car.... how much get up and go are you expecting?

That cam should idle pretty good and run smooth just off idle.  Ran a very similar Engle cam (223/230) years ago on a motor with 170 cylinder pressure, 12" converter, and 3.23s with factory heads.  Ran 13.0s at 106 in full street trim R/T.  It would go sideways in 1st at a 20 roll

If it does not idle well, check your timing and carb tune.  Your CH4B might have a vacuum leak..
