What kind of rear?

I just picked up a 1970 Satellite to build into a RR clone.  Its a 318/904 and I was wondering what rear end it has in it? (The car is completely stock as far as I can tell)  The rear has a backing plate like a GM rear with 10 bolts holding it on.  I decoded the fender tag, but its no help with the rear end.  Obviously, its not an 8 3/4.  So what is it?

Thanks for the help!

OK, thanks!

I'm guessing that this is not a particularly desireable rear end to have?  How strong is it?

I found this http://www.moparts.com/Tech/Archive/axle/6.html and it seems to suggest that the 8 1/4 is more oval shaped and around mostly from 1972 and up.  It doesnt seem to show anything that is an exact match for mine.  Maybe mine is an older version of the 8 1/4???

Curious.

Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....
