The 68 383 4bbl 4spd AC car from Bruce Cliche's yard in VT is back on Ebay.  Wow is it bad..  These pics show angles I don't recall seeing in the past.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Dodge-Charger/153380282246?hash=item23b62d5f86:g:~YYAAOSwToZcZ0kj:rk:1:pf:1&vxp=mtr

Looks like some pressure washing/cleaning has pulled more paint off but it's the same car, check out the Dodge decal on the back window.

Looks like the guy that bought it from Milford NH a while back took it to NY for a few years to realize he bought a mess.

That is a lot for essentially a VIN # and hopefully matching #s.   A couple thousand (maybe more) hours to rebuild and $$$s for parts = big bucks

That was the 1st time it sold... it's currently sitting at 9k!

Sad sight when you see chargers like this ,  bet that looked awesome when new ,  cant see anyone buying it & paying to get it restored !  only way I can see it happening & only way it would be worth while is if you can do all the work your self & get the car for free or next to nothing  :Twocents:
shame rare charger  :icon_smile_blackeye:

In the 2006 Jalopnik article it still looks pretty good.
https://jalopnik.com/a-million-in-parts-still-no-buyer-for-vermont-muscle-c-224135

Though I don't know for certain that the photo is the same vintage.  Shows how fast these things take a turn for the worst.

hemi-Hampton is saying that he thinks 5 hundred is too much. It sold before for 5 thousand.

The listing has ended. 9 bids, final price $9,000.  Wow!   :o

One thing did surprise me. The car in such bad condition, but the steering wheel did not have the usual split / crack at the 12:00 position.  :shruggy:

VegasCharger

There's plenty of usable parts there to supersede $500.00.  :shruggy:

Steering Wheel
Hood
Rear End
Grille
Front Bumper
Rear Bumper
Glass
Radiator (for the #'s)
383 core
Power Steering Pump
Steering Column
Dash Frame
Dash components
Rear Seat cores
Driver's Bucket Seat core/tracks
Rear Windshield trim (lower corners alone bring big $$)
Front Windshield trim
Tail Panel trim
Seat Belt cores
A/C Heater box core

9K no way.

$500.00 sign my up.

Oh well, can't sign up because it SOLD for $9000.00!!
Go figure lol.

I've seen allot of junk sell for under 10k that will cost double and sometimes triple to fix if they would of just spent more on a better car...I had a really solid 69 on Craigslist for 20 that needed no panel replacement and complete car and I was getting bashed, but then I see dummies bid on junk like this that's going cost way more to fix...
