I was helping out a kid who works at our shop pull a tranmission out of an old cordoba to put in his 73 charger.  --we got it pulled and started bullshi**# with the guy who's place it was.  --he mentioned some other old cars out back.  I walked around the corner, and there's a 68 or 69 GTX sitting under a lean to.   It's in pretty nice shape.  The interior is almost mint......the body's just got a little rust.......it hasn't been ran since 83' when the guy blew up the engine.  --i'm going back this weekend with as much cash as i can come up with and haggle with the guy.-------i'll post pictures and results saturday night............wish me luck

Wow congrats, Strat!
That's a great looking RR, even if it is brown. ;D I take it that's why you were pondering selling your Charger a while back?

I'd love to have a 71 RR...hell, I'd even take a green one! :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Like I always say regarding classic car purchases, you don't have jack squat until the car is in your garage and the title is in your hand.

I agree! This was why I was so nervous and uptight about getting my Charger until I loaded it up on the trailor and the title was in the glovebox of the Denali  :icon_smile_big:

Hey Dharma:

This girlfriend of yours is way too much trouble for us.  Her attitude is really wearing on me.  Frankly I really think we can do better. So the tribe has now spoken and it's time for her to go.    Either you dump her or just give me the phone number and I'll drop her, like a sack of dirt, for you. Thanks!

Now, on to more important things. Which car are you bringing to Mopar Alley show?
