Need help with 72 charger

Hello,

My friend bought a 1972 charger and we need a hood to bumper seal, where do I find one. Thanks

72s didn't get hood to bumper seals

It's a piece of trim on the front of the hood between the bumper and hood.

There's a seal near the rear of the hood that seals to the cowl and one near the front that seals to the radiator support.

do you mean the molding ?, that´s not a seal. Is about hunt it used or NOS... not repros of that one, althought corner pieces attached to fenders are available new repro. Same about rear moldings ( deck lid and quarter extensions )



hood and deck lid I think are the same than 73/74s, but not corners although maybe could be interchanged

Yes, it's the molding, we thought it was a seal but you guys helped us out. Thanks for your help guys.

these are not used to be that cheap but it got some dings... there is another one in $200 rate by same seller.

its Stainless Steel so not hard to restore... Aluminium pieces are harder

I would offer rare difference of opinion to my distinguished colleague Nacho. I've found Stainless is VERY easy to removed scratches and buff to shine equal to chrome. Dents are a bit harder but aluminum will pit and can't buff that

I meant because aluminium needs an extra treatment being anodized.
