Nice cars! would love to see that same race with 4:10s in the Charger, but who knows, it would likely just result in wheel spin with those tires?

The GTO redlighted,Charger gets the win.

Must have been at altitude for a 375 horse 4 speed build only trapping 100 mph...

My 70 ran a best of 13.94 @ 102 mph.  That time is right for a stock 440 car. Most 3.23 geared automatic transmission cars ran 14.2 to 14.4 in the quarter mile.

I was talking about the mph, not the et. Giving it the benefit of the doubt of 3800 lbs raceweight which will be very low for that car, at a 100 mph trap speed is roughly 300 hp. At 4,000 pounds it should have trapped 105. Something is a muck. Probably has 8:1 slugs in it...

This is exactly correct.  The highest trap speed I've ever seen on a 440 4bbl Bbody was 102 ish, in Detroit on a 30°F day.  Ma Mopar tells you they are actually 320 hp.

500" NA, Eddy head, pump gas, exhaust manifold with 2 1/2 exhaust with tailpipes
4150 lbs with driver, 3.23 gear, stock converter
11.68 @ 120.2 mph

That was really close. Must have been pretty exciting from the driver's seat.
My 70 ran 14.0 @ 101 with a reringed 440, a 280/474 cam and a 3.23 diff...with a horrible 2.2 60' !
