Nice car, just the wrong colours...

I'll pass on the pale yellow paint, but I like those brown interiors.

If everyone had the same taste the world would be a very boring place to live.  I Like It, I wish it were mine, thus my DC.com name.

Just ignore the color haters.

I'll admit that I like other colors more but it is great to see something other than red, blue or black....or GREEN !

My friend had a 70 Charger R/T SE sunroof car, that was FY1 yellow with a tan interior too,but the vynal top was black. He was hit broadside by a guy in a van,and the Charger was rolled. Pete Veight put the sunroof assembly in a Superbird.

sorry  about your buddys  charger ,  interesting  to hear those two cars were almost identical , bet we would be surprised on model / color combinations & how many etc  , if Chrysler had such a thing as a marti report.   I remember reading in a mopar mag years back about a guy who put a charger sunroof in his superbird , pretty sure  was it petty blue  or  maybe white ?

I put the sunroof in a white Superbird back in 1990. The "Sunbird" article was in Mopar Action magazine.

that must of been the one I remember  , use to get all the mopar mags back then!  given them all away now, think the petty blue one I mentioned did not have a sunroof now thinking about it , just had its vinyl top removed .

My friend Dave has very vivid memories of the day that his sunroof Charger ended up on its roof after being T boned by an unregistered van. He was driving with his brother on a cold fall day. The windows were up because of the temperature. After the impact the 15x10 inch Crager S/S wheel hit the curb and the car flipped and slid down an embankment. He remembers the car coming to a hault on its roof, and the battery that was not fastened down had come disconnected during the crash. His brother Mike noticed gas pouring out the open flip top filler cap.and said to Dave,I don't know where my cigarette went. Because the roof had pinched the ventwindow frames they couldn't open the doors, and without battery power, they couldn't lower the windows. They were finally able to kick out the passengers side door window and get out. The car never caught fire. The car was parted out,and I bought several parts from it,and Pete bought the roof, and while it was damaged,he was able to salvage the sunroof assembly and put it in his Superbird.

$100,000 wasn't enough for the owner to sell......how much could he possibly want for it? :shruggy:
