383 Engine ID Question

I am looking to buy a 383 and found one. From what I found this is a 64?? It is a 2 barrel motor and its about 2 hours away. These are the only numbers I have. $300 bucks seems fair. Can someone give any more info?
The casting numbers are
2128854-4

There should be more stamped #s on the machined pad where the distributor goes. Quick google search says it's a '64 block.
Personally, I wouldn't pay anywhere near that for this 383.
