There is a Charger 500 registry that is rum by Dodge Charger.com member Homerr. I tried to find the thread on it,but I could not. Maybe someone can post a link to it. He has info on over 300 Charger 500s.

Hi dave, thanks for the reply. My old c500 was red with a lot of primer oxside brown. 1972 440--4sp dana and very rusty. Orignal color was a brown with black interior. Sold it to a fella in oak park Ill . His first name was scott and can"t read last name on bill of sale. Did not make any parts at that time and just gave up.

Looks like a new VIN to be added to the list,  Do you have any pictures of it?

I bought the 500 in 1978----my third one. Sold in dec 1991 I still have one in the garage so life is good !

Dave K.,
I'm addressing this to Dave because we were both active in Aero cars in that Oak Park/Chicago area around the 1991 sale time.  And... Dave may be thinking it was mine until Jconway mentioned the color (my C500 was B5).  My last "Windy City Wings" registry printout was 1996:  Nothing for that VIN. The name "Scott" also does not ring any bells (The primary "Scott" you and I think of didn't buy it).  Wonder if Murf heard of it. -SB Steve

Steve -
You nailed it!  That's exactly what I was wondering.  Now I'm wondering if I'm that predictable...

Jconway -
There is a longtime Mopar parts and cars dealer in Oak Park named Scott, look him up on Moparts under username "dsd70bee"

Thanks everyone for the replies.  It was a bronze 440/4 speed non matching numbers car.  It was quite rusty when I sold it and now that someone said Scott Dowse, that is what is on the bill of sale!  Thank you.

Homerr

Hi, I've added this VIN to the registry.

jconway

Hi homer, thank u so much !!! Hope to see the old car some day.....
