Betcha the restorer saw the V88 Stripe Delete on the fender tag and acted.... Only maybe not knowing what the V88 on a Daytona and 500 actually meant? My hypothesis..

I know a local guy with a Daytona,that believed his was special,because it had the rare stripe delete option. I tried to tell him,they were all built stripe delete,so the proper stripe could be applied at Creative Industries,but he wouldn't hear what I was telling him.
