Hey guys, I have my bumper jack torn down for resto and I'm not sure what the actual finish on the mast was. It looks like it's a dull silver color but was it painted or plated in a silver cad? Thanks

It depends on which type you have.

T-mast - painted.

Tube mast -  plated.

It's the T style, I forgot to mention that it's for a '68 Charger.

Krylon had a rattle can silver that was a very close match, 'Aluminum' maybe?

It has been quite a while since I did one & they change color names every so often.

Thanks rarefish. So that silver is painted and not plated?
