Fuse block accessory wiring?

Hi guys/gals I am just about ready to go through my dash and redo the paint/wiring/etc. a while about I bought a new harness from year one and hooked it all up. Everything was working in the dash except the map light and other things in the light package. I had very little of it left as everything was so butchered (really wish I'd have taken a photo so you all could have a laugh) so I just took the remnants of it out. To get to the point, I was wondering how a fuse block should look with just the standard accessories hooked up to it. After I wired in all the extra wiring that didn't come with the harness it seemed like I had a sketchy amount of wiring back there. I'll take a picture and label it next time I'm near the dash for reference. Any pics or advice would really help!

Found this one online:

Mine has just a few basic accessories and looks more complicated than this

Since you bought from Y1 I'm going to assume you got a M&H harness.  I just got mine installed and spent a lot of time figuring what went where with what wire.  What I discovered is the M&H harness is for a B-body not just a Charger so some things are not used and some things are missing.  What was missing is a little harness called the  "Accessory lamps wiring Harness".  It doesn't come with the M&H harness.  The FSM is a little tricky because it has one but its labeled for a DART!  I scanned mine in and hope it helps.  You do have the FSM, right?

Anyway here it is..

you can see how some accesories terminals got a prong to source ANOTHER accesory from same buss, like splitting it... They use this kind of terminal:

so you can get a chain of accesories using same buss/fuse using that

Thanks so much guys that is incredibly helpful. I had been doing the pigtail thing with all the add-ons that I came across and it just felt a little cluttered and sketchy. I didn't see any other way and this seems to reaffirm what I was doing. Now I just need to figure out the harness for the "Accessory lamps wiring harness" and yes it was the M&H harness.

Yes, the stack of terminals one plugged to the other looks kinda weird and even scary LOL.

Definitely to the inexperienced individual such as myself. Here's a picture of my block and before anyone's asks "who let you work on cars!?" I'll have you know I wasn't very well supervised as a child

I'd label these but my brother took the photo from my moms house. It's 15f degrees outside and the roads are total crap so I'm hangin at home tonight.

I am an old Navy electrician and I probably spent 2 months and about 100 hours figuring out how things work.  First time for me.  Ma Mopar was some help but made some problems with their documentation so just stick with it.  Isn't working on old cars fun... :nixon:

Haha that's pretty funny. Also made me feel better. I had my work laid out for me by getting the new harness. I had to build a few harnesses and figure some conundrums out but Dino on here was an enormous help  :punkrocka:

Wow, I hadn't even noticed. Thanks for that heads-up. I may have some JB weld I could patch that with or maybe fill with some ABS plastic. Like you said, "somethingmore to do!"

Went and checked my harness earlier today. Same thing as yours and it makes sense what the guy said about it being a lazy mold. I took a bunch of pictures earlier that I'll post up after I resize. I believe two of the wires I hooked up were for the console lights and one goes to the glove box light. I also have the radio backlights running off the three-peg orange accessory light and I'm not sure where to hook up the cigarette lighter.

The cigar lighter has a dedicated connection female socket that connect directly to the lighter.  It was a short lead out of the main harness, not the accessory harness as shown in my picture.  Here's a picture of where it is and what it looks like.   Red wire and it comes out of the harness real close to where a yellow wire comes out.  Like I said, Mopar did not make it easy.

Okay I definitely remember that wire and remember it being near the ash tray. The back of my sig lighter has a threaded peg on it and nothing more. I think I'm missing something

as far I know the cigar lighter provision is already built/attached on underdash harness no need for an extra harness or wire. It was somehow standard on all cars so no ned to get a removable wire.

As mentioned you should have the plug hanging around.

If you got a M&H harness from Y! then the connection should be there.  It's a real short lead, only about 6" long and it fits down over that threaded peg, nothing else needed.  Just push it on!

I did get mine drone year one. I think I bought the firewall harness and the engine harness with a 30% coupon three or four years ago. Still cost me a ton of money! I'll chect to see if mine works. I got the lighter out of a junk yard in rough shape so I'm curious to see if it even works.

Here's what I've got going on. I have the light to the radio coming out of the single orange wire with the three pin female end. The other two are blank. I know where everything hooks up to for the most part, but feel free to critique what I've got going on.
