Will new style challenger seats fit into a 1969 charger .
I just cam across a set of seats front and rear from a new style challenger .
Has anyone on the forum done the conversion ?

Anything will fit given modifications to the floor/seat tracks. I have seen them in 2nd gens but have not personally done them. I have had Cadillac cts seats in mine and were similar.

Anything will fit given modifications to the floor/seat tracks.  I never had to modify after market seat tracks. Just weld boxed type metal, to the bottom frames and your in business.

The usual problem with newer model seats (for retrofitting into these classic cars), is that the seatbacks are too high & big at the shoulder.  It ends up looking all wrong.

I prefer comfort over "weird" looks. I need seats that recline and are soft.

I consider welding to the seat modifying.
