Bluetooth audio system?

Hi all. I am starting to think about a sound system for my project. I currently have the AM radio out of a '68 in my '69 and love how it looks. I only want to run three speakers: the two on the package tray and the one in the dash. I'd LOVE to do this by bypassing a deck entirely with a hidden Bluetooth system. Is there a practical way to do this? I don't need an aux input or anything like that. JUST a Bluetooth connection. Thanks guys.

do you want to use the original at all? As in keep it in dash for the looks, but another feeding the speakers?   
Or have both connected to the speakers, and whichever is on works?     
On my dads 51 Chevy truck i put a small Bluetooth Din stereo (only 2in Deep, and 24$) hidden in the glovebox for bluetooth until we save for a Retrosound replacement for the dash.
I have also seen stereo switches that you toggle which will connect if 2 working stereos are wanted.

Honestly I like all of those options. Of course I like the most expensive one the most. I still think keeping my old radio (although useless and not even hooked up other than the light in it) would be preferred. Is there an under dash attachement and amp that I could run the speakers through that is Bluetooth capable and has an aix connection? If I'm not mistaken, for a sound system you need a power source, amp, player of some type, and speakers.

Anyone have any experience with the "vintage auto radio"? Other than a slightly hokey display and steep price, I really like it. For that I would only need a power source and speakers, correct?

Just hack some BT speakers? You don't need a head unit.

I thought about that too. I got a google home Bluetooth speaker from m'lady's mom that got me thinking about this whole thing in the first place

my buddy with his 69 chevelle has a bluetooth battery powered "pill" speaker on the dash, even painted it to match the metallic green color. seems like the least invasive, starter option anyway.

I think that's a pretty good idea, however, I've got the dash out of the car and the body is completely stripped right now, so I figure if there's a time to upgrade and modernize the whole system throughout.

I got one of those vintage radios with stock exterior look but modern inners being 4x40. Still haven't installed but reading the instructions manuals they are not easy to set it up ( not at least the station preset buttons ), thought yes to use it once is set. It seems the Tune pot is a digital unit what moves the needle remotelly being the needle motorized, so is not a direct drive between the tune pot and the needle. Sure must be a weird feeling. I didn't got the BT unit because got it pre-owned from a member here on a good price ( half ) at the time the BT units were barelly being released at the time. Didn't care, I didn't want a BT unit since I'm more toward to wire the external audio source ( iPod, Phone, whichever source ). I hope will know it in couple of months.

I was interested on a stock look with modern inners because the poor it is the radio signal for the old stock units ( even with a 15 db radio amplifier ) and poor power coming out from them ( 3 watts ). And didn't want any kind of external/parallel system. I even will keep the stock speakers, which sure can't hold the full power of the new radio, but I just want the extra power from new radio to save from distortion on radio unit itself ( stock unit distorts easy with the pooor power they provide ). Sure I can keep safe my speakers.

I changed anyway the amplifier transistors of the stock unit anyway to get more power from stock unit ( just in case ) but haven't hearded on car yet either.
