How can you cope with this? By the time you get paid for work it's so much less!  :scratchchin:

Did I read that right? 13 million percent inflation ??

Mike DC

Sorry, Nacho.  It must be really tough down there these days.  I've read that crime has gotten pretty far out of control too.

For that much inflation prices would change everyday? How the heck can you adjust to that?

^ Every day...How about hourly!!  Germany in the 30's had such high inflation that folks were getting paid two or more times a day as inflation drove up prices and devalued money almost hourly. Wives would go pick up the pay (as often as it was paid) and get to the market to buy needed items before prices went up. All I can say is hang in there Nacho.

Well things there WILL get better down there, unfortunately I fear it's going to take very ugly events that make it occur

I have been reading about all this. People dumpster diving for food, cooking their own pets, crime rate steadily rising. Hope things turn around for everyone there.

Is it fair to say that this is directly related to Socialism and the corrupt government ?

Man, that is absolutely terrible. I can't even imagine that much inflation!
I hope this will end for you sooner than later, that is just crazy. :eek2:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That sucks man. Hope things start getting turned around soon.

Still, that's what happens when a wannabe despot and demagogue who surrounds himself with sycophants, has a rabid cult-like group of followers who think he can do no wrong despite obvious evidence to the contrary, and who is completely clueless as to the rule of law and longstanding principles of democracy, comes to power.

Oh. SHIT.  :-\

Venezuela was at one time an oil rich country that was doing very well, until they switched form a free market model to a socialist model of government. I wish the kids in this country were being tought history.
