Best color for re-sale of a '70

well I know its definitely not matching #'s .  It was given to me with a sapre 318 . the other day I checked out the fender decoder on the 70 but it seemed like some of the numbers didnt match up . for instance from what I can remember for engine it said like B61  but there wasnt an option  and the closest thing was E61 and I believe thats a 383. Im thinking about keeping it green for now because it would probably be hard to fins another dash an steering column.

It was definitely the E61 code, which would be for a 383 2bbl. If you have a hard time reading the tag, take it off and look at the back. It will look much clearer. Does your VIN have an "L" in it?
