Right at this moment I would say orange (for obvious reasons), other than that I would say sublime or any other high impact color  :yesnod:

Plum Crazy is always a popular choice. Black is popular as well, but it takes some good $$$ to get black looking right. What's the interior color, and are you going with a vinyl roof?

ps- Have you registered that beast with us yet? Please do so admin@1970chargerregistry.com

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I personally think the original color would be best if your car has a fender tag. I wouldn't pay allot for a green car that was painted red or black or a cool color just to make it look good. It's still a green car painted another color. Just my feeling on the matter.

I would also have to say the original color, but orange right now ranks right up there also. ;)

Orange does sound pretty good right now seeing all those prices, Though I think its going to take about half a year to restore this car probably so im not sure if the buzz will still be up or not .    Added another option for GL Clone for it but if it could come to that option I think i'd leave the 70 grill there.

Just because the way Chargers are selling right now, I picked Orange, or Hemi Orange if you like. But I also would agree with Plum Crazy and or red. Of course the original color would sell better to the right people.

And just think.... If you paint it orange, you could leave the green interiour in it and call it "The Great Pumpkin" :smilielol:

I would vote for the favorite color of the guy with cash in hand.  If your building it to sell I would say original, If someone wants another color they can paint it when they own it.  If your planning on driving it for a bit paint it the color you want it to be!

well im not gonna be driving it but I might have a friend drive it a couple times to a show since I've got 2 .It would also be nice to have 2 mopars driving along side each other. you hardly ever see mopars so it would be cool to have  the same car right beside each other. The reason why I want to find the best color is 1. for re-sale  and 2. since it is not a matching #'s car it wont matter as much either. This car is also going to be aftermarket shifter since the console was no good.

My '70 is black with three coats of blue pearl so it looks black until the sun hits it just right and there's a nice sparkly-like blue.

decided not to make it a vinyl top after all seems like it would cost more money anyway.  Black does sound very tempting but then I would probably have to put more money into it then I thought I would be doing since the rear quarters are some what holey.

I would imagine the other as panther pink! ::)
With the green int. I'd go black
I generally am a fan of true to tag, but I think if people are into picking up a Charger
than a fresh black body would keep alot of attention

My fav is the plum, but if I were to buy one painted, no way would I buy one with green int.
It just means I'd have too spend that much more to help int. match :yesnod:
seat covers, headliner, dash, steering wheel and column, carpet, door panals,
forget that... :icon_smile_blackeye:

69bananabeast

Well in a way it doesnt seem like it would be too hard because all of the interior is torn up and needs to be replaced any way. The only thing I think I might have a hard time finding is the dash and the column.

I voted green originally - mostly cause of the green interior.

Now I just say leave it alone,  sell it and make a profit the way it is and let somebody else figure out what they want to do with it.
