Personally I think Cragers look best on 2nd Gens but they wouldn't fit on my '72, surprisingly the clearance is less than a '70. I think these will work...

Those look awesome. I really like the look. :2thumbs:

I have always liked slots (had them on my first car) and those look fantastic.   :2thumbs:
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Brass

Absolutely!  They look great with that color combo.

Very nice.  They go well with the black top, the shiny contrast just works.   :2thumbs:

Love slots.  Have to admit Im a bit of a traditionalist though and say I like the dull finish ones best.  That probably just means I'm old and hung up on the DMCL look.  Those look great on your car, excellent choice!

4cruzin

That looks good . . . my question . . why would cragers not fit?   :shruggy:

Sorry for delay...the Cragers DO fit on both the '70 and 72 but the slots, which I had planed to put on the '72 are too wide for the '72. The wheel wells are a lot narrower so They slots went on the '70 instead.

Ryan.C

Where did you score those awesome slots? What size are they?
