When the brake pedal is depressed, which wire on the switch shows + 12v?

they should both show 12v when pedal is depressed ........you should have 2 wires, either red & white, or pink & white.....the white one goes up the steering column, the red or pink one goes to the fuse box......

The red or pink one should have 12v all the time, the white one will get 12v when you step on the pedal
