Hi guys,

I am installing a new headliner in my 68' Charger but I'm not sure if it's lacking something on rear columns (beside rear window). When we took out the old headliner we didn't miss any part. However, the guy who will install the new headliner is saying to me that in the both columns, between the headliner and the body of the car, should have something like a plate that works to fill that part keeping the headliner strained.

Could someone help me??

I'm gonna try to attach a picture of the area.

Thank you

There is a fiberboard behind the headliner in the sail panel area. Nothing on the outside though on a charger. Other B bodies had covered sail panels that go on the outside of the headliner. How your picture shows is how it should be.
