Amd inner fender fitment

Went to install amd inner fenders and they don't fit very good. I have 1 inch difference where the original inner fender spot welded on. I knew it would t be a perfect fit, but this is more than o was expecting. Any help is appreciated

That's after market panels for you...sounds about par for the course...and why I patch repaired my old ones (well ...that and they are next to impossible to get in the UK without selling one of your offspring into slavery!). Where exactly does it not fit? Any pics?....im sure it will be nothing a bit of cutting, welding and adding/removing metal won't cure

Up by the cowl it's about a 1/2 inch shy of covering the old spotwelds. I can't get the pics I took to upload.
