Then why bother looking at the thread, then posting in it? ::)

It was worded as a question with a question mark.   I replied to it.  Sorry if I angered you.
No, I don't like old tractors.

Old tractors are cool.  I have a 1942 Farmall H model, kick ass machine.  I've used it for everything from plowing snow to pulling stumps.  It still runs good, needs a manifold and some tires.  I'd like to redo it eventually.

It's an addiction.  I learned how to work on cars by working on tractors first.  Here are pics from a few years ago at the local show of some of my family's tractors.

I restored the Silver tractor on the right.  It was my first tractor restoration.  Dad did the green one.

That's all I got for now.
When I was just a very young lad I looked up and told my dad, a bareback rider's what I wanna be.  I want the whole world to know about me.  In the rodeo arena I'll make my stand.  I wanna be a rodeo man.  I'll come flyin' from the chute with my spurs up high, chaps and boots reachin' for the sky.  Spurin' wild with my head throwed back, you'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.  You'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.

Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

We have a tractor that is 1 of 100 made.  i will try to get a pic or two.  There is a Detroit engine from a semi in it.

It was called a rhetorical question.

Now, I understand that "rhetorical" is a pretty big word for you, so I'll explain what it means.  Rhetorical means a question asked, which is not meant to be answered.  Do you follow me so far?  No?  Well, I'll go on anyway.  The thread title was merely a means of letting people know that this thread was about antique tractors, so that those of us who do would look at it.  It was not asking if they liked the tractors or not.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

Hey that probably isn't too far of a drive for me.  Where exactly is Golden Valley and what are the dates for your show?  The show down here in Sturgis is during the 3rd weekend in August.  I believe the dates are the 18th, 19th and 20th.
