I delivered the News Herald in Eastlake Ohio for ~5 years, but that didn't start until ~'74
Halpert C-P in Willoughby was right across the street from the local "west end" Lake County  YMCA that I spent many hours at 

only remember seeing a yellow Superbird back "in-the-day"
