Loads of products out there, has anyone tried any with success?

What about filling the deeper scratches with epoxy or something. Anyone try that?

Not looking for perfection, just improve what I have.

Oops, it would help if I read the title properly  ::)

I know they can polish graffiti out of glass but it usually ends up a bit wavy.

I used this (just because I had it on hand.)  It has Cerium Oxide in it.  It made my side windows really clean but didn't remove deep scratches.  I haven't heard of anything that will without distorting the glass optics.  Watch the little video on the product page.

We'll put both cars side by side and go to town! I have a polisher but should get a different pad for it.

They are saying that this product can fill scratches making them invisible. I haven't tried it, so I don't know for sure. If someone tries it, let me know. https://www.amazon.com/Bywabee-Quick-Fix-Windshield-Repair/dp/B072ZB3VCX/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1538141083&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=cracked+glass+repair+kit&psc=1

I have made many pieces of glass somewhat better with a orbital and various products, but you have to be very careful with the amount of heat you introduce. Really hard to have a positive impact on the scratches, without causing optical waves.

Remember my resto thread Dirk and my back glass? I bought a second used back glass that was less scratched than my original and then spent probably 50 hours of arm numbing work and cost of products on it to get it somewhat satisfactory. In the end I wasn't really happy with it and after some hard thought I ordered a new AMD back glass for $$$'s. Side windows are cheaper.. lol

I hate the idea of buying all new glass, especially if the quality is less than that of the original glass, but I guess there's not a lot of options. I'll have to drive around with scratched glass for a while though.
